There is a legend that the great Octhulhu dwells deep within the ocean.
Only one hunter has ever come close to conquering this water devil; he claimed one of its eyes, a cherished prize for the hunter. Partially blinded, Octhulhu retreated back into the deep caverns and searched for scraps to cover his battle wound; an old bicycle chain attached to a tuna can would suffice. Octhulhu patiently waited, knowing the hunter would one day return and sure enough, the hunter did, this time bringing a sailor to aid him in his journey. Now prepared for this unwanted visit, the water-dwelling beast was cunning and far more intelligent than the hunters; he rose from the depths and slowly emerged under their ship. The sailor noticed the smooth sailing suddenly in the stormy weather felt suspicious; the sailor asked the hunter about the strange occurrence but there was no answer; Octhulhu was clever and snuck a tentacle on board, capturing the hunter. Revenge was to be had and there was no escape for these two unfortunate souls as the water devil plunged back into the deep, taking everything with him as recompense for his stolen eye.
